UNDER HUDEN - touring performance
The project UNDER HUDEN consists of a performance with a following workshop. We reach out to kindergartens and nursing homes. We experience the connection between these two groups as both exiting and very rewarding.
We hope that our work can create opportunities for both ourselves and others to see, meet and learn from someone they otherwise would not get the possibility to meet - people living very different lives, in the same city.

In the performance, you'll meet three acrobats who play with  physical possibilities in a limited stage area where the stage floor is constantly changing. In an instant, a movement pattern can change from simple to very demanding. With humor and creativity our imagination and understanding are put at stake so that what was once seemed impossible might be possible. Is transformation and change maybe the only constant?

FRITT FRAM - touring performance
Picture
What does the world look like upside down? Can I be too old to play?
What does Mari and Mikael do when Tamar start inventing her own rules? Have you ever thought about how much you can lift? Or maybe how much we can lift together?

We try, we fail and we try again. What happens when one of us no longer can touch the floor, and another only can stand on his hands? Together they wonder why, and how, to relate to each other and rules of the games. As well as to the joy, and the vulnerability, playing can create.

NESA I JORDA - touring performance
A puzzling  circus performance about the secrets of the forest.
Picture
Did you know that the fungus helps the trees talk to each other? They connect the whole underground of the forest, like a telephone line! Pondering, we explore the fairy-tales from our reality. Two aerial acrobats and a musician climb, dig, balance and plant. Could we possibly be as strong as the ants?

To the violin’s dreamy and playful tones, the acrobats explore the height, the earth and what is underground. What if they could find the beginning of a tree?

Arena Silo - touring site specific performances
Arena Silo is a series of site specific performances, traveling from silo to silo, farm to farm.
Hidden stories and memories, covered in dust. Little did they know, the ones who built this silo, about the fact that they were building a perfect manege.

SLÅTT 2022
2021 we premiered the first edition of SILO - as part of the bigger project Arena Silo. With this project we are connecting artists with silos and farms. A project run by KompaniTO, aiming to bring our performing circus arts outside of the bigger cities, home to people. We are creating a network of artists with a background from different performing art, and new "stages". - the old, empty but still iconic Norwegain silos.

Every year we expand Arena Silo with a new Silo and a new artistic team. The result in 2022 was the new performance SLÅTT in addition to the first production SILO as part of Arena Silo. Have a look at the trailers to see what we are doing within this project.

NÅR TIDEN STÅR STILLE - in creation
Picture

"Did you know that sound moves four times faster in water than on land? And did you know that the blue whale can make sound signals that reach from Oslo to Trondheim?"
"Når tiden står stille" is a work in creation where we explore the interplay between the art forms of puppet theatre, text and circus. We work with bodies and figures in interaction and will through this create a performance about life in the sea. We will dive into old books as well as snorkel for edible seaweed. The ocean is enormously big and only 5% of it has been explored. It is our origin and contains the most incredible life forms. A place where both time and movement behave differently.

1+1=alt - in creation
We build relationships, we build houses and homes, we try to build future with past. 1 + 1 = alt reflects on repetitions in life, on the fact that change may be the only constant we have, and on an ocean of possibilities.

How can we think ahead based on the past? What do we allow to follow us on our way? How can we create solid building blocks for sustainable lives? Where do you search for the fitting pieces in the Tetris game we call life?

In 1+ 1 = Alt you meet two acrobats exploring gravity. The artists from KompaniTO invite you into a universe where small identical wooden blocks shapes what we call existence.

TRACTOR CIRCUS - 2016 to 2020
In Tractor Circus all rules of gravity are broken. The way you are used to seeing both people and huge machinery move, are now turned upside-down and inside-out. Literally! With music that captures the beauty of honesty and craziness, the twisted universe unfolds.

Tractor Circus wish to bring contemporary circus to the villages of Scandinavia and abroad. Farmers and villagers let us use their tractors and farm yards, barns and squares, receiving a performance and new experience in return.

With two vans and two tractors we turn the village upside down for a weekend. Tractor Circus want to create a meeting place for all cultures, social backgrounds and experiences. We wish to encourage people to play and dream together with us, and invite for workshops connected to the performance.
